Designed for middle school participants, this program sets the framework to start the conversation about higher education. Participants will be empowered to explore who they are, where they are going, how they will get there, and who the co-pilots in their lives are. The curriculum is age-appropriate and inspires and facilitates improvements that affect educational outcomes—especially among underserved populations—through evidence-based innovation.
This program prepares participants for a school-to-college-to-career lifestyle by increasing the number of students from traditionally underserved backgrounds who persist through and graduate from an institution of higher education with a four-year degree. The curriculum includes the “Get on the Bus HBCU College Tour” offered by mettle entertainment group, llc. The company takes participants to a HBCU college fair in New York City with on-the-spot acceptances provided to Seniors expecting to attend college.
Do you want to get promoted on your job, but the only thing between you and more money is a college degree? Do you feel hampered by limited educational opportunities? There are alternatives to attending traditional college that may appeal to you. Independent study, accelerated degree programs or online courses, and special summer programs are just some of the ways to engage in reaching your next level.
