YOUniquely Me! (YM) is a carefully constructed empowerment program of training, assessment and support services designed for women and girls to embrace their uniqueness and break society’s barriers in order to achieve lifelong success. As precious as a gem, each YM woman and girl is a treasure to behold. As they speak and adopt the values of a YM woman or girl, participants will discover how they are all related; how they work in cohesion, and supportively shape who they are, where they are going, and how they will get there. YOUniquely Me! Empowerment Program will target economically disadvantaged girls (Grades 7-12) within the Greater-New Haven community.

We are hoping to attract pairings of middle and high school girls and their adult female influencer/mother/mentor/ champion in the YOUniquely Me! Career Readiness Program.

YOUniquely Me! is designed to create, improve and sustain women and girls’ confidence, integrity, and leadership abilities which aims to set her apart from the rest. One of the founding principles of the YM Empowerment program is to address those skill sets that are far too often absent in some of our young women and girls. YM strives to address many of the barriers that affect one’s desire to achieve in the academic or career settings, and subsequently break society’s barriers in order to achieve lifelong success in the real world.
