B.O.Y.S. (Boys Overcoming Youth Stereotypes)
This program provides boys in Grades 7-8 with mentoring, academic skill set training, university linkage, and technology training as it relates to academic performance and assessment. The curriculum speaks to the three fundamental skills on which all other skills can be built: communication, decision making, and goal setting.
Survivin’ N Da Hood (Grades 7-12)
With a focus on prevention and empowerment, this program trains youth in Critical Thinking Skills that will help them to become effective trainers, leaders, and individuals. The training is part of a positive leadership process to increase the self-esteem and leadership qualities of our youth in order to reduce incidents of crime and violence, high school drop-out, teen pregnancy, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, and other youthful down-falls.
YOUniquely Me! Empowerment Program (Women & Girls)
This carefully constructed empowerment program is designed for women and girls to embrace their uniqueness and break society’s barriers in order to achieve lifelong success. Mentoring, group discussions, guest speakers, projects, workshops, and community service activities are offered year-round aimed to educate the participants to reach their fullest potential. The program is designed to create, improve and sustain their confidence, integrity, and leadership abilities.
