Pillar IV - Life Skills
Money Matter$ (Grades 7-8)
A banking program for youth participants that teaches money management. Participants learn about investing, savings, check balancing and the importance of maintaining bank accounts and credit behaviors. They will be able to enroll in the Youth Saver program through a local bank to establish personal savings accounts.
Life Skills 101 (Grades 9-12)
This program teaches participants about nutrition, finance, and other real-world basics. The curriculum will cover vital skills needed for the transition to successful independent living and is geared towards hands on, interactive lessons allowing for personal development.
SECURE (Adults)
Building off the Money Matter$ program for youth, SECURE educates adults on entrepreneurial enterprise, budgeting, paying for college, home management, life insurance, investing and other financial literacy matters.
